This book addresses psychological and other factors which are shown to be the culprit with unsuccessful prevention and treatment ...(Información más detallada)of diseases of "sole'' or "joint'' (i.e. when patients simultaneously suffer from many diseases) nature. The authors identify psychological types of patients, psychological relations existing between the patient and the physician in the course of medical treatment and report the successful results of a new method of the autogenic training (physiological self-training). The authors also identify the place of the connective tissue theory ofbiology and medicine among the recent scientific developments. They have shown that the connective tissues constitute 85% of the mass of human body. These tissues enable the interactive functioning of other kind of tissues (nervous, epithelial, muscular tissues) and like water on the Earth may have the form of liquids (blood, lymph, intracranial and other liquids), solids (bones, cartilage) and semi-liquids (bands, gels, marrow). The presented schemes of prevention, prophylaxis and treatment of diseases are based on mechanisms of development, differentiation and maturation of connective tissue components and their effect on the course of 23,000 different diseases. The book addresses, the role of drugs, healing, phyto- and other kind of correction of malicious disorders of connective tissues and therefore lays a basis for treatment of thousands of diseases (atherosclerosis, early stages of development of pre-cancer, infarcl, insult), because connective tissues may be regarded as the "scaffolding framework (skeleton)" of organs and live organisms, which serve as nutrient and purifying systems. The authors describe the newest groups of drugs and medications for treatment of connective tissues disorders, which may be used for treatmtent of gangrene, mental and physical disability, neurologic disorders, psychiatric disorders, physical disorders in both critical and not critical age periods (puerperium, sexual development, "Christ's age'', climacteric, pregnancy, labor and delivery, etc.). The authors redefine or introduce such concepts as "sickness'' or "illness'', "pre-illness* status, "vicious circle of illness development" "main link of illness", etc. They also discuss the prospects of activities of narrow-profile specialists in biology and medicine and present a critical analysis of biological, medical and psychological researches, which have been, conducted abroad. This book is written for biologists, psychologists, physicians and other workers of medical industry, people employed, in pharmaceutical industry, scientists, workers of cultural, educational and sports institutions, sick and ill persons and persons being healed
